Art and Art History at Palos Verdes

L’aura borealis - 100 Ways to Look at the Muse

(click photo for larger image)The Palos Verdes Art Center is presenting the above exhibition from October 26 - December 20, 2012. 

Guest Curator Bondo Wyszpolski and Curator Scott Candy bring a “different perspective to widen the audience’s interpretation of the Muse.” To accompany this program, Jill Kiefer will present an art history presentation, Muses: The Goddesses of Inspiration” on Friday evening, November 2, 5:30-7:30. Jill will also lead a Brown Bag Workshop on Saturday, December 1st, from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. My Materials--My Magic--My Muse will be an adventure in working in alternative media--and allowing your materials to be your muse!
